Week 3 - More Griping While We Wait For a MOTW

Another week, another tough week of football to watch. At first I thought I was just being dramatic because of my CMC-induced depression. But then I really looked into it (like more than any normal human should) and it turns out two factors are really bogging down this season: injuries and poor pass play. So while we wait one more week for a MOTW, let's see how these two factors have really made football a little miserable.

First, look at all these injuries (ordered by ADP) and the affected managers:
CMC (Simon)
AJ Brown (Chris)
Puka (Rich)
Pacheco (Paul)
Deebo (Cho)
Cooper Kupp (Jon)
Mixon (Chris)
Kenneth Walker (Rich)
Mostert (David Y)
Jordan Love (Chris and also affecting Reed, Watson, Wicks, Doubs)
Higgins (Mike)
Engram (Jung)
Ferguson (David Y)
Keenan Allen (Simon)
Hollywood Brown (Cho)
Njoku (Dan)
Tua (Cho and also affecting Tyreek, Waddle, Achane)
Jordan Addison (Jung)

Who are the only managers that make it out alive? Eric and David K? What a miserable way to start the season. Here's hoping no more injuries for the rest of the season, however unlikely that may be.

On another front, look at how low the passing numbers have been this year compared to years past:
193?? The whole league is basically collectively averaging a smidge above Bryce Young's horrendous season last year. I saw conflicting TD numbers but know that those are down this year compared to the last 5.

What does this all mean? Looks like we might be in for a weird season and that's why it makes sense that the 3 Kim-Lee family members are a combined 5-1. When the league isn't normal, that's their best chance to strike. Let's see if the season continues this way or regression kicks in sooner rather than later.

To end on a positive note, let's just all be thankful we don't have this guy's team:

Good luck to all!
